What data we process

  • Contact and account details you provide (name, email, phone) when you book, buy, or sign up.
  • Booking, order and payment information. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
  • Technical and usage data (for example device information, cookies and analytics) when you use our website.
  • Any messages you send us.

Why we process it, and the legal basis

  • To provide the bookings, packages, memberships and services you request — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To operate, secure and improve our website and measure traffic — our legitimate interests and, where required, your consent (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • To send updates and marketing where you have subscribed — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Cookies and consent

We use essential cookies to run the site and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via our cookie banner and change your choice at any time using the cookie settings button in the corner of the site.

Who we share data with (processors)

We work with trusted providers who process data on our behalf, including Shopify (our e-commerce platform), Momence (our booking provider), our payment providers, and our email and analytics tools. These providers are bound by data-processing agreements. Where data is processed outside the EU/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, statutory tax-retention periods), after which we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@sqwodpod.com or use our privacy request form.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For us this is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
